Immigration verified
As the Greens spokesperson on immigration, Shoebridge opposes the Labor government's resettlement deal with Nauru, calling for it to be 'ripped up' and for 'an immediate pause on sending any further people to Nauru,' and has called for a royal commission into offshore processing.
Foreign policy & aid verified
Shoebridge has been a vocal supporter of Palestinian causes. In August 2025 he said that if the Albanese government stopped the export of F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel, Israel's F-35 fleet would be grounded, and in September 2025 he called for Australia to apply sanctions against Israel comparable to those against Russia.
