Felicity Lesley Wilson was born on 7 June 1982 in Cessnock and had a turbulent childhood due to her father's undiagnosed schizophrenia. She attended Nulkaba Public School before her family moved to the Central Coast, where she finished primary school at Bateau Bay Public School and began high school at The Entrance High School. Abortion & reproductive policy verified

As a member of the NSW Legislative Assembly, voted in favour of the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019 (which became the Abortion Law Reform Act 2019, decriminalising abortion in NSW) at both the second reading (8 Aug 2019) and the third reading (final passage, 8 Aug 2019), on a conscience vote.

Voluntary assisted dying verified

Felicity Wilson voted in favour of (Ayes) the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2021 at its third reading in the Legislative Assembly on 26 November 2021 (Assembly third reading, which passed 52 votes to 32). The Act was a conscience vote and became the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022 (NSW).

Gender & LGBTQ+ policy verified

Liberal MP for North Shore. She crossed the floor to support the Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+) Bill 2024, defying Liberal party lines (the party did not grant a conscience vote). She said: 'As a Liberal I believe in the fundamental principle of equality for all people, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation,' and 'Just because the party won't give you a conscience vote, doesn't mean that you don't have a conscience.'
