Independent member Davis supports voluntary assisted dying; she moved the original NT Legislative Assembly motion (13 May 2025) to progress VAD that led to the parliamentary inquiry, and chairs the NT VAD working group. No recorded vote has occurred. Stated position.
Gender & LGBTQ+ policy news report
In October 2025, independent MLA Justine Davis opposed the government's re-tabled amendments to the NT's anti-discrimination legislation, saying they would "weaken protections for vulnerable people" and stating in an SBS interview "There is no need for these changes and, in fact, they are going to potentially cause harm." This is a stated position.

Davis (Independent, Johnston) opposed lowering the age of criminal responsibility to 10, calling it 'a bad day for democracy in the Northern Territory', apologising to her community, and warning the NT would not 'be the only country in the world that treats 10-year-olds as criminals'.
