Guyula (Independent, Mulka) opposed the CLP's bail laws and lowering the age of criminal responsibility, saying 'we want to see community-led solutions' and that the NT 'locks up almost four times more children than the next highest jurisdiction' and the changes 'will jail more First Nations adults and children than ever before'; he said he was 'disappointed to be a part of this Parliament that is lowering the age'.
