Christian. Wikipedia states "He is a Christian" and notes "Caddies has described himself as socially conservative and a Christian." In his inaugural speech (27 May 2025) he said "Along my journey, I became a Christian. That decision changed my life. My faith gave me purpose, clarity and direction."
Gender & LGBTQ+ policy verified
Pauline Hanson's One Nation MLC. During the November 2025 Legislative Council debate on Maryka Groenewald's motion on transparency over gender treatment information, Caddies described the current approach to gender-affirming care as "irreversible medical experiments on children." He abandoned his speech after a point of order in which the acting president directed him to focus on transparency rather than treatment views.
