Australian Greens party platform
The platform states reproductive rights are human rights and supports the right to choose safe, legal abortion, committing to funding so all public hospitals provide free abortion services and access does not depend on location, alongside expanded subsidised contraception.
Victorian Socialists party platform
The platform states support for the right to control one's body and reproductive function "at any point in a pregnancy," and calls to enshrine publicly funded abortion and contraception, funding GP training and nurse-led abortion care models to expand access.
Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party party platform
The party's Pro-Life policy states that human life begins in the womb and proposes reducing gestational limits for abortion, banning sex-selective abortion, and requiring counselling for women considering an abortion. It also proposes requiring neonatal care for babies born alive during an abortion, restoring doctors' full right to conscientious objection, and mandating reporting of abortion rates.
Animal Justice Party party platform
The party states access to abortion and contraception is a fundamental component of a person's right to make reproductive choices, that government has a responsibility to provide safe, affordable and accessible contraception and abortion services as part of the public health system, and supports improved access for rural, regional and diverse communities.
Family First Party party platform
Family First states that human life begins at conception and should be protected from that moment until natural death, and it supports banning late-term abortion alongside support for women in crisis pregnancies through services such as pregnancy support and adoption pathways.
Katter's Australian Party party platform
The platform states that Katter's Australian Party was founded on Christian values and believes that life is precious, and it opposed a federal Labor proposal to withhold health funding from states that do not require public hospitals to perform abortions. It has also expressed opposition to expansions of abortion access in Queensland.
Libertarian Party party platform
The party's statement of principles holds that "freedom over one's own body" includes the freedom to control one's own fertility and to have children.
Australian Christians party platform
The party states human life is sacred from the moment of conception and that it opposes abortion as bringing harm to both mother and child; it commits to repealing amendments that approved abortion on demand up to birth, removed counselling for mothers, and denied protection for babies surviving abortion.
Democratic Labour Party party platform
The party states it affirms the value and inalienable dignity of human life and supports life from conception through to natural death; its materials also describe the Infant Viability Bill it introduced, which would have ended abortion from the 24th week of pregnancy, required care for infants born alive with intent to save their lives, and required practical support for mothers presenting in distress in later pregnancy.
