Australian Labor Party party platform
Labor commits to putting all Australian public schools on a path to full and fair funding, with an estimated $16.5 billion in additional Commonwealth funding over 10 years under the Better and Fairer Schools Agreement, which ties funding to reforms to lift literacy, numeracy and school completion.
Liberal Party party platform
The party's statement of beliefs says it is "committed to the widest possible freedom of choice in education" and that the right to choose "should not be just a privilege for the rich."
Australian Greens party platform
The platform commits to making public university and TAFE free, with government covering tuition and compulsory fees (including the Student Services and Amenities Fee) for students at public providers, aiming to end student debt from these charges.
Victorian Socialists party platform
The platform calls for free public education at all levels, abolishing all university fees and reinstating free tertiary education, cancelling student debt (HECS/HELP etc.), increasing TAFE/VET funding, banning universities from profit-seeking and from employing more than 5 percent of staff casually, and ending land tax exemptions for private schools.
The Nationals party platform
The party's plan commits $100 million to a Raising the Regions Program delivering flexible early childhood education and care in regional "childcare deserts", including family day care run from community spaces and employer-supported workplace models, plus a $40 million increase to the Assistance for Isolated Children Boarding allowance.
Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party party platform
The party's policy supports a back-to-basics curriculum re-emphasising English, mathematics and science, and stripping the curriculum of what it describes as ideological or politically-biased material. It proposes parent-elected school boards with at least 50% parent membership, a school voucher system to give parents choice, higher standards for teaching graduates, and empowering schools to enforce discipline.
Animal Justice Party party platform
The party's education policy states animal exploitation is detrimental to education, promotes values education recognising the interests and dignity of animals, calls for programs fostering kindness and non-violence, critical thinking and learning about modern farming systems, and removal of industry-provided education programs in schools.
Family First Party party platform
Family First supports reviewing the national curriculum to refocus on reading, writing, arithmetic, history and logic, restoring the teaching of Western Civilisation and Australia's democratic achievements, adding financial literacy, and removing critical race theory and gender ideology content from school and early childhood curricula, while affirming parents as the primary educators of their children.
Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party party platform
The NSW platform states support for the development and expansion of the TAFE system and opposition to funding cuts, along with commitments to expand rural TAFE networks to build skills in regional NSW.
Katter's Australian Party party platform
The platform included a bill — the Education (General Provisions) (Extension of Primary Schools in Remote Areas) Amendment Bill 2023 — to allow primary schools in remote Queensland communities without a local high school to deliver schooling through Years 7 to 10, so rural and remote families can keep children at home for longer.

Australian Christians party platform
The party's education policy supports a curriculum focused on core basics and Judeo-Christian values, the right of religious schools to select staff and students who share the school's ethos, fair funding between public and private schools, parental school choice via vouchers and tax deductions for school fees, the right to home educate, and continued school chaplaincy placements.
Democratic Labour Party party platform
