Each entry is that person's own stated view, with its sources. The badge says what kind of source backs it — official record, own statement, news report or encyclopedia — which describes the evidence, not how much we believe it. Nothing is totalled or ranked; recorded votes are counted only to point to the member's record, where each is listed. See methodology.

Welfare & social services

Joel DrysdaleLiberal own statement

Joel Drysdale says of the "homelessness crisis" in Mill Park that "The City of Whittlesea currently has no dedicated outreach service" and that he is "speaking with local Council and other stakeholders on how best to address this".

No sourced position on record: Lily D'Ambrosio, Jesse Lambourn, Eve Levens, Elizabeth Nealy, Arthur Tsoutsoulis, Binoy Zacharias.

Abortion & reproductive policy

Lily D'AmbrosioLabor · sitting own statement

D'Ambrosio, member for Mill Park since 2002 (and thus in Parliament for the 2008 reform), has publicly supported expanding abortion access. In a 29 November 2023 statement marking the 15th anniversary of Victoria's 2008 decriminalisation of abortion, she promoted the Allan Labor Government's expansion of surgical termination services across Melbourne and new sexual and reproductive health hubs, noting safe access zones around abortion providers had been legislated.

Joel DrysdaleLiberal own statement

Joel Drysdale calls to "KEEP EPPING POLICE STATION OPEN!", opposing the plan to "PERMANENTLY CLOSE Epping Police station once it opens the new Wollert Station", which he says would take police "a 15 MINUTE DRIVE away from the epicentre of crime in our area".

Native forest logging

Lily D'AmbrosioLabor · sitting official record

As Victorian Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, D'Ambrosio (ALP) drove the government policy to phase out native forest logging, announcing on 7 Nov 2019 the plan to end all native forest logging in Victoria: 'This is the largest environmental protection plan in our state's history... By ending the destruction of our old growth forests immediately, we're protecting the habitat of our Greater Gliders, Leadbeater's Possums, and many other threatened species.' Logging in state forests ended 1 Jan 2024 and the enabling Act was later repealed. Voted aye on 30 May 2024 on an amendment moved during the Legislative Assembly's consideration of the Sustainable Forests (Timber) Repeal Bill 2024, which repealed the Sustainable Forests (Timber) Act 2004 following the cessation of native forest logging on 1 January 2024. The question was 'That the words proposed to be omitted stand part of the question' (Legislative Assembly, 30 May 2024; Ayes 53, Noes 24; agreed to): an aye vote kept the words the amendment proposed to omit. It was a vote on the amendment, not on the bill.
